It was announced that the mobile consular service held at Kansas Central Global Methodist Church on May 30th was successfully concluded.
More than 50 local Korean Americans attended the event and received various consular services. Participants were able to conveniently process essential consular matters such as passport renewals, issuance of various certificates, and consular confirmations that would normally require direct visits to embassies or consulates general.
The mobile consular service is a program that greatly benefits Korean Americans living in areas geographically distant from Korean consular offices. For Korean Americans in the Kansas City area in particular, it provided a valuable opportunity to receive necessary consular services while saving time and costs.
An event official stated, "It was very meaningful to be able to provide practical assistance to local Korean Americans through this mobile consular service," and added, "We will continue to work hard to ensure that such services can be continuously provided for the convenience of the Korean American community."
This mobile consular service held at Kansas Central Global Methodist Church is being evaluated as having served as a bridge between the local Korean American community and the Korean government, greatly contributing to protecting the rights and enhancing the convenience of overseas Korean nationals.
